• Thursday 23 November 2023 Strike Information Teaching Staff 2023 As I am unable to ascertain which, if any teachers will be available for work that morning, I have conducted a risk assessment, and this shows that we are not able to safely open school for pupils before 12 noon on 29 November. While disappointed that the action has had to get to this stage, the governors understand the reasons for the strike but are also concerned about the disruption to the pupils and their families.

• Wednesday 15 March 2023 Hill Croft Hi5 Performance On Tuesday 14th March 2023, Hill Croft School and Uplift Performing Arts came together to demonstrate how Hill Croft has adopted the Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing throughout the school- through the Hill Croft Hi5 Uplift Performance at the Theatre in the Mill, Newtownabbey. Hill Croft School is the first Special School in Northern Ireland to have achieved the Take 5 Level Two Award and this event was a celebration for the school community. Hill Croft were pleased to welcome Alderman Stephen Ross, members of the Board of Governors, past pupils, families and friends of Hill Croft. What a wonderful night showcasing the amazing pupils of Hill Croft School!

• Thursday 27 October 2022 Hill Croft Harvest Collection for Newtownabbey Foodbank Hill Croft School's Charity of the Year for 2022-23 is Newtownabbey Foodbank. This year for our Harvest Assembly we asked our school community to contribute long life food items that could be used by the Foodbank to support families in need.

• Wednesday 22 June 2022 Key stage 1 and 2 Sports and Fun Day Key Stage 1 and 2 held a Sports and Fun Day and invited the parents and carers to cheer them on. The pupils did extremely well in their running races and obstacle races.Check out our Facebook page for more photos.
