A Royal Week
What a week it has been for Hill Croft!
There has been much excitement across school over the King and Queen's visit to Northern Ireland. Little did we know that when the choir signed up to be part of the Coronation Choir with schools from across Antrim and Newtownabbey Council, it would lead to such a special performance!
The pupils excelled themselves, not only in their performance, but in how they conducted themselves throughout a long and busy day and they certainly rose to the occasion in their interactions with the King and Queen.
I also had the privilege of meeting His Majesty later in the day when I represented the school at the Garden Party at Hillsborough Castle. You know I will always take the opportunity to talk about education, even to the King!
